The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for directly machine up time, OEE, managing and budgeting repair costs, .

The Manufacturing Manager is also responsible for the management of maintenance personnel and facilities engineers. This includes scheduling of the team, setting work and project priorities, establishing and reporting on department budgets. It also includes tracking facilities and maintenance metrics such as equipment down time and utility expenses and developing programs to optimize these costs.
